Job role summary:

As a Transfer Rep, you’ll welcome our Neilson guests as they arrive at the airport. From this point, you’ll make sure that all guests have the information they need, direct to the correct transportation and assist with any issues.

You’ll ensure that the journey between the airport and resort goes as smoothly as possible. You need to interact with the guests, answer any questions and create a great first impression of Neilson Active Holidays. The ability to remain calm under pressure and keep smiling when the going gets tough is essential.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

To be successful in this role:

  • You’ll need to be a fast learner & very quickly become a resort expert
  • You’ll acquire and constantly improve your knowledge of the resort and the local ski area
  • You’ll be able to confidently advise Neilson guests about equipment hire, tuition, and Neilson hotels & chalets
  • You’ll meet, greet and escort guests to and from the airport or appropriate coach feeder points
  • You’ll provide assistance and information to all internal and external customers
  • You’ll be able to soft-sell services and social events as directed by your line manager. Your ability to soft-sell these events planner will enhance the Neilson guest experience, provide a higher level of guest service and assist in meeting set targets
  • You’ll be able to soft-sell ‘ski packs’ (lift pass, equipment & tuition). This service greatly assists our guests and assists in meeting with agreed conversion ratios
  • You’ll be responsible for keeping a record of all monies taken and paid out on behalf of the business
  • You’ll ensure the safe handling, storage, and passage of any company funds
  • You’ll learn and be able to demonstrate an excellent overall knowledge of Neilson product and pro-actively cross-sell our holidays to all Neilson guests
  • You’ll carry out all other duties that assist with the smooth running of the overseas operation as directed by your resort manager

  • Previous customer service and sales experience
  • Previous representative/supervisory experience desirable
  • Numerical aptitude
  • Educated to at least GCSE standard

  • Experience of working overseas beneficial
  • Ski or snowboarding experience essential
