As a Hotel Host, you will provide a first-class hospitality service to our guests. You’ll need to be working in various areas of the property. You must be willing to get your hands dirty and able to ensure that our high standards are always maintained.

We are looking for individuals who will go the extra mile to help customers and their teammates in every area of the hotel operation.

• You’ll strive to meet and exceed all service and income targets for the hotel
• You’ll work in and around the various departments of the hotel and always willing to learn different skills
• You’ll assist the kitchen team as required in the preparation and service of a cooked/continental breakfast, daily afternoon tea and a three-course evening meal
• You’ll clean and maintain the hotel in accordance with company standards and guidelines
• You’ll deliver an efficient bar/table service to guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Carry out any other duties that assist with the smooth running of the overseas operation as directed by your line manager, such as helping with luggage, assisting with ski fit, clearing snow or possibly airport transfers
• Maintain a welcoming and comfortable environment in and around the hotel
• Go above and beyond all guest expectations
• Provide excellent service for mealtimes in buffet and A la Carte restaurant styles
• Ensure that the hotel environment is a safe and secure place in which to work/stay
• Ensure that guests individual dietary requirements are being met
• Ensure that all Company Health and Safety procedures are implemented and followed
• To act as a Neilson ambassador at all times, both in the hotel and around the resort
• Provide information and assistance to our guests wherever required

• Previous customer service experience
• Prior hospitality experience (Preferably in a hotel or chalet environment)
• Numerical Aptitude
• Experience of work overseas (desirable)
• Skiing or Snowboarding experience (desirable)
• Educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent

• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent planning and organisation skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work well within a team and maintain effective working relationships
• Able to use your initiative and to follow written and verbal instructions
