As a Flotilla Mate, you’ll be right at the heart of the Neilson flotilla experience, working alongside your Flotilla Skipper and Engineer-Mechanic to help our guests enjoy an unforgettable sailing adventure around the Ionian Sea.
You’ll support the day-to-day running of the flotilla, helping with guest briefings, mooring and sailing support, social activities and everything else that keeps life on flotilla running smoothly. You’ll also play a big part in creating the friendly, sociable atmosphere that brings everyone together.
This is a hands-on role, and no two days will be quite the same. You could be helping guests on the water, organising the next flotilla stop, dealing with an unexpected challenge or simply making sure everyone is having a brilliant time.
We’re looking for a qualified, organised and outgoing sailor who loves being around people, gets stuck in and can stay calm and helpful when plans inevitably change.
Based at our beautiful Vounaki Beachclub Sailing Centre in Paleros, Greece, you’ll spend your season exploring some incredible sailing grounds, meeting brilliant people and helping create holiday memories that last long after everyone sails home.
