Job Details
As a Shore-Based Engineer-Mechanic, you’ll play a key role in keeping our yacht fleet safe, reliable and ready to sail, providing technical support from our Vounaki Beachclub Sailing Centre in Paleros, Greece.
You’ll take ownership of the maintenance and upkeep of our yachts, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and plumbing faults while supporting our Flotilla Engineers when technical problems arise out on the water.
Previous yacht engineering experience is brilliant, but it isn’t essential. If you come from a mechanical, automotive, agricultural or similar engineering background, your practical skills and experience could transfer perfectly to our fleet.
We’re looking for a hands-on, resourceful problem-solver who’s confident working with diesel engines, 12-volt electrics and general mechanical systems, and who enjoys the satisfaction of finding a problem and getting it sorted.
If you fancy swapping the traditional workshop for a busy sailing centre beside the Ionian Sea, this is a pretty hard place to beat.
