As a Tennis - Racket Sports Coach, you’ll spend your summer on court, coaching loads of different players and sharing your passion for racket sports with our guests.
You’ll deliver a varied programme of fun, engaging group sessions for adults and children of different ages and abilities – from complete beginners picking up a racket for the first time to more experienced players looking to develop their technique, tactics and confidence.
We welcome applications from coaches at different stages of their coaching journey. You’ll need a recognised coaching qualification to join us, but whether you’re relatively new to coaching or already have significant experience behind you, we’ll give you the opportunity to coach regularly, develop your skills and gain a huge amount of hands-on experience throughout the season.
Our programme has been developed with input from some seriously experienced people in the game, including former GB Davis Cup player and Andy Murray coach Mark Petchey, alongside RPT Europe founder Adrian Rattenbury. You’ll combine that programme with your own coaching personality to make sessions professional, inclusive and – most importantly – enjoyable.
And the role is evolving beyond traditional tennis. As a Tennis - Racket Sports Coach, you’ll also have opportunities to get involved with the wider racket sports programme available in our Beach Clubs.
We’re looking for coaches who are energetic, approachable and brilliant with people. You’ll need to adapt your coaching to the guests in front of you, build confidence quickly and make sure everyone leaves the court feeling like they’ve had a great session.
