Job Details
As a Flotilla Engineer-Mechanic, you’ll combine hands-on engineering with a real sense of adventure, helping keep our yacht fleet – and our flotilla guests – safely on the move around the beautiful Ionian Sea.
You’ll diagnose and repair a wide variety of mechanical, electrical and plumbing faults, working both from our Vounaki Beachclub Sailing Centre and out on flotilla when technical support is needed.
Previous yacht engineering experience is brilliant, but it isn’t essential. If you’ve got a strong background in mechanical or automotive engineering, diesel engines, 12-volt electrics or similar practical disciplines, many of those skills transfer perfectly to our yachts.
You’ll need to be a confident problem-solver who enjoys getting stuck in, often working independently and thinking on your feet when something decides not to behave exactly as the manual suggests.
Based at the stunning Vounaki Beachclub Sailing Centre in Paleros, Greece, this is a cracking opportunity to put your engineering skills to work in a very different environment – fixing problems, supporting our sailing operation and occasionally doing it with the Ionian Sea as your workshop.
