Job Details
As a Flotilla Skipper, you’ll take the lead on one of the most iconic parts of a Neilson sailing holiday – guiding our guests and flotilla fleet through the beautiful Ionian Sea.
You’ll take responsibility for the safe and smooth running of the flotilla, working alongside your Flotilla Mate and Engineer-Mechanic to support guests throughout their sailing adventure.
This is much more than simply skippering a yacht. You’ll provide daily briefings, route and weather guidance, practical sailing support and plenty of local knowledge, while dealing confidently with whatever challenges life on flotilla throws your way.
We’re looking for an experienced, qualified and confident skipper who combines excellent seamanship with brilliant people skills. You’ll need to inspire confidence, make good decisions and create a relaxed, sociable atmosphere that helps our guests get the absolute most from their time on the water.
Based at our Vounaki Beachclub Sailing Centre in Paleros, Greece, you’ll spend your season exploring some incredible sailing grounds and helping deliver the kind of adventure our guests remember for years.
