Head Lifeguard

Job Details

As Head Lifeguard, you’ll take the lead on our Lifeguard Team and have overall responsibility for maintaining a safe, professional and welcoming environment around our Beach Club pools.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll organise and support your team, maintain consistently high safety standards and make sure every Lifeguard remains proactive, vigilant and confident in their responsibilities. You’ll lead by example too, spending plenty of time poolside and stepping in wherever needed.

Prevention is at the heart of what you do. You’ll make sure your team is constantly aware of what’s happening around the pool, identifying potential hazards, encouraging safe behaviour and dealing confidently with situations before they escalate.

When an emergency does arise, you’ll need to be someone your team can rely on – calm under pressure, confident making decisions and ready to put your lifesaving and First Aid training into action.

You’ll also work closely with the wider resort team, including supporting our Children’s Club during pool-based activities, while helping your Lifeguards develop their confidence, professionalism and guest service throughout the season.

We’re looking for an experienced Lifeguard and natural leader who takes safety seriously but also understands that our pools should be relaxed, friendly places where guests can have a brilliant time.
